Oh my goodness!
Was this weekend just beautiful or what?!
It is days like Saturday and Sunday that I live for in Washington!
Makes me so excited for summer; yet nervous!.. as that means baby will soon be here!
I am sorry for my delay in posting this blog.
My drive home took over an hour longer than expected and I was exhausted from my crazy busy weekend! (Also.. I no longer have internet or cable.. So I am sitting here in the business center of my apartment typing away..)
I hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend though!
I was lucky enough to be able to spend the day with Randy's wonderful family!
Talk about good eats, good company, and good weather!
I cannot believe how fast baby is growing now!
He or she is the size of a large mango, 6 inches long, weighing in at about 8 oz (or 1/2 lb)!
I am definitely feeling the growth take place and each day I feel bigger and bigger!
How far
along? 18 Weeks 3 days
Total
weight gain: I’m sure I am at least 3 or so lbs by now! I won’t
know the exact weight gain until my next doctor’s appointment, so the next
couple blogs will all be a guessing game!
Maternity
clothes? My wonderful sister-in-law passed along two of her maternity shirts to
me this weekend! I am wearing one in my picture! Thanks Kristian! I definitely
need to buy some more stuff, but with how nice the weather was this weekend, I..
1) didn’t get to shopping and 2) didn’t
want to waste money on cold weather maternity clothes when spring is showing
its face so early!
Stretch
marks? Thankfully, no! I feel like I have had some rapid growth, so I get a
little paranoid at times.
Best
moment this week: Too many to even be able to mention them all! Here
are a few though: seeing my husband and Chip, loving on my nephews for the
first time since like January!, making some big purchases that made me feel oh
so much like an adult!, and the beautiful 70 some degree weather!
Miss
Anything? Feeling cute in my clothes! I feel like I am totally in this awkward
stage right now.
Movement: I’m not
really sure. I could say I have felt some, but then again I could be wrong.. So
I will stick with no. It is hard to know exactly what I am feeling in my
stomach. Most times it just feels like stretching, growing, cramping.. so who
knows?!
Food cravings: No cravings still!
Food cravings: No cravings still!
Anything
making you queasy or sick: I am actually doing really good food wise! I
still have yet to eat a salad.. but the thought of one no longer makes me want
to vomit.
Gender: Still
waiting.. again, my intuition is a girl.. but we will have to wait until the 19th
to find out!
Labor
Signs: None
Symptoms: Major
sciatica spasms that could practically drop me to my knees, leg cramping in my
sleep, occasional stomach uneasiness, headaches, and low blood sugar when I don’t
eat often enough!
Belly
Button in or out? In
Wedding
rings on or off? On
Happy or
Moody most of the time: I think I have been happy! This weather
definitely helps as well!
Looking
forward to: Another weekend down in Vancouver! It will be my
last until probably May.
My favorite maternity items were Gap (maternity) pure body v-neck T shirts with shirred sides so they went completely around my belly. They make a pure body tank now, too. I also loved my Gap leggings because at the end I just didn't want anything constricting. My maternity leggings were so comfortable, heavenly really! You'll have fun when you start maternity shopping!
ReplyDeleteOooh yay! I will have to look into gap maternity!! Do they sell it in stores or did you have to order online?! I am all about comfort! I live for leggings and I know this summer will be about comfy tops and dresses! Right now my leggings fit great in my legs, but are totally constricting around the stomach! I may have to invest in some gap leggings! :)
